The school year is off and running and it is hard to believe that we are at the end of the first nine week grading period already. With the end of the first grading period, I would like to take this opportunity to remind you of our Progress Book component and particularly the parent feature that allows you to keep up with your child’s grades as the year progresses. You may contact either of the building administrators to receive a password if you cannot locate the one that was issued previously. Speaking of technology, we will continue to keep you notified of important announcements via the Pre K -12 calling system that we have used in the past for delays and cancellations as well as other important announcements.

A local organization that provides socks and shoes for children, measured and fitted some McKinley Elementary students for new shoes. The organization is Soles of Luv.
“The smiles on their faces are just amazing,” said Cheryl Barkett, Soles of Luv.
There’s a sweet smell, whether it’s donuts, freshly brewed coffee or hot chocolate every Friday morning inside room 101 at David Anderson Junior/Senior High School. Friday mornings are busy for the class, as the students operate the Brew Devil Cafe.
