Access to Blizzard Bags

Current State law allows school districts to use five calamity days without having to make up lost time.  The LEVSD used our fifth calamity day on 2/19/15.



2015 Winter State Testing

Assessment season has arrived a bit earlier this year than it has in the past.  I am excited to see how David Anderson students will do on these new assessments.  Teachers and students alike have been preparing for these assessments all year.  I am confident we will do very well.

CCCTC Sophomore Information Night

The Columbiana County Career and Technical Center is having its annual Sophomore Information Night Thursday, March 12 from 5-7 p.m.  This is an opportunity for students and their parents to meet instructors and tour the career and technical labs at CCCTC.

Students will also have the opportunity to complete the online application if they have not doen so yet.  All students who have applied and submitted a signature page by April 1, 2015, will be entered into a drawing to win one of two Samsung Chrome Books.

There will be 3 door prize winners drawn at 6:45 pm and at 6:50 pm we will pull two winners who will each win an iPad Mini tablet.

Art Awards

Congratulations to Ben Coleman and McKenzie Gentry who represented Lisbon David Anderson Junior High in the 2015 Knights of Columbus Substance Abuse Awareness Poster Contest. A special congratulations goes out to McKenzie Gentry who won 1st Place in the 12-14 year old division for her Drug Awareness Poster! We would like to wish her the best of luck in the upcoming state level judging!
